Johor Bahru Mall Events 30 Oct – 15 Nov 2026: Mid Valley Southkey, Sutera Mall & Angsana

The Short Version

The busiest weekend is 30 October – 1 November 2026. Three malls run free events at the same time: Yume ACG Fest at Sutera Mall, Karnival Jom Heboh at Angsana Johor Bahru Mall, and a BIG Pharmacy expo at Mid Valley Southkey's exhibition centre. Deepavali decorations at Mid Valley Southkey run until 15 November, and the TCE Baby Expo follows on 7–9 November. We checked each organiser's listing on 26 October 2026.

Mid Valley Southkey

• Deepavali 2026, 22 Oct – 15 Nov, Ground Floor. Kolam floor art with golden elephant sculptures at North Court and South Court, plus hanging decorations. Shoppers who spend RM300 or more on a single same-day receipt can claim a stainless steel cup set, but you must be an MVClub member and show the QR at the South Information Counter. Redemptions are capped at 80 on weekdays and 100 on weekends, with 3 per customer per day, and some stores (SOGO, banks, food courts, the exhibition centre) are excluded.
• BIG Pharmacy Health, Beauty & Baby Expo, 30 Oct – 1 Nov, MVEC. Held in the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre.
• TCE 64th Baby Expo, 7–9 Nov. Saturday to Monday, from 11:00 am.
• Focus Point World Sight Day, 2–8 Nov, Centre Court. Also Montigo Pop-Up (2–8 Nov, North Court) and Omega Plus by Village Grocer (5–8 Nov, Lower Ground).
• Tastefully Expo, November. A food, Halal, health and beauty trade-and-consumer expo. The listing we found gives no dates, hours or ticket price, so check the organiser before you plan around it.
• Maybank Singapore Tourist Privileges Program, until 31 Dec. Mall-wide. We could not see the benefits on the pages we checked, so ask at the information counter if you are visiting from Singapore.

Sutera Mall

• Yume ACG Fest 2026, 30 Oct – 1 Nov, ground floor. Free entry. A relaxed anime, comics and games weekend themed "Easy Mode", with cosplay and booths expected. The guest line-up, stage schedule and opening hours had not been announced when we checked.

Sutera Mall's own site also lists a Deepavali trade expo, a furniture fair, a charity run and a Lions Dance competition among its current events, but it shows no dates for them, so we have left them out rather than guess.

Angsana Johor Bahru Mall

• Karnival Jom Heboh, 30 Oct – 1 Nov, Padang Begonia. A free carnival with more than 150 promo and food booths, TV actor meet-and-greets, free health and dental checks, and stage activities. A concert is billed for Saturday and Sunday nights, but no artist list was confirmed. The Fun Run on 1 November is already closed for registration.
• A separate Deepavali Carnival runs 29 Oct – 1 Nov on Level 2.

Beyond the Malls

• LEGOLAND Malaysia Brick-Tacular Holiday, 13 Nov 2026 – 3 Jan 2027. Holiday-season programme across the theme park.
• Ducktastic Dash Run, 28 Nov, AEON Mall Bandar Dato' Onn. A duck-themed 5 KM night run, a little after this window.

What About City Square and Komtar JBCC?

We found no confirmed event dates for City Square or Komtar JBCC for this period, so we are not listing any. Check their own social pages before you go.
