Capsule Pod — Not an Open Dorm Bed

Many travellers assume "hostel" means a bunk in an open room. A capsule pod is different. Each pod is an enclosed sleeping space with a sliding door that locks from the inside.

Inside every pod you get a mattress, personal fan and air-conditioning controls, an adjustable LED reading light, USB charging ports, and a power socket. Personal lockers are provided in the pod room. Fresh towels are included; soap and shampoo are available in the shared bathrooms.

Daily Stay vs Monthly Stay

If you need short-stay accommodation in JB for one or two nights — a business trip, a Causeway transit, or a stopover before Singapore — a daily pod is the cheapest way to get a lockable private space without paying hotel prices.

If you need somewhere longer-term, our monthly rate starts at RM594 per month. We also have separate monthly rooms from RM500 per month (RM250 deposit) above the Taman Pelangi 7-Eleven, managed by the same team.

Check-In and Check-Out Times

Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM noon. Self check-in operates 24 hours, so you can arrive any time after 2:00 PM without waiting at a counter — useful if you're crossing the Causeway late at night. There is no curfew.

Security

The building has 24-hour CCTV, a keypad-locked entrance, and personal lockers inside the pod room. Each pod also has a door that locks from the inside.

Is there air-conditioning?

Yes. Every pod has individual climate controls — both a fan and air-conditioning.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash (Malaysian Ringgit), DuitNow QR (all major local banks and e-wallets including Touch 'n Go, Boost and GrabPay), and credit cards.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but there is a shared kitchen on-site. Nasi lemak or roti canai from nearby stalls costs around RM3–8.

Do Malaysians pay the Tourism Tax?
