Getting to JB from India

Chennai → JB

AirAsia and IndiGo fly Chennai (MAA) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL). From KUL TBS terminal, take a direct JB bus (4h, RM25–35). Or fly Chennai to Senai Airport (JHB) if direct flights are available on your dates.

Bangalore / Hyderabad → JB

Fly to KUL via AirAsia, then take the bus from TBS to JB Sentral (Larkin) or JBCC. Grab from the bus terminal to Pelangi Capsule Hostel is RM8–12.

Mumbai / Delhi → JB

Multiple carriers (Air India, AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines) connect to KUL in 5–6h. From KUL, bus or domestic flight to JB. Grab within JB is under RM15 from most entry points.

Via Singapore (common route for SG-based Indians)

Cross on foot or by bus through the Woodlands CIQ checkpoint: take the Causeway Link CW1 bus from Queen St Terminal or Woodlands Bus Interchange to JB Sentral. From JB Sentral, Grab to Taman Pelangi takes 10–15 minutes and costs RM8–12. If you arrive at Larkin bus terminal (JB's main long-distance hub) instead, a Grab to the hostel is a similar short ride.

How do I get to Pelangi from Senai International Airport?
Take a Grab or airport taxi to 26A Jalan Perang, Taman Pelangi, Johor Bahru. The ride is 20–30 minutes and costs approximately RM25–35. No direct public bus connects Senai to Taman Pelangi.
Can I pay in Indian Rupees or use GPay?
